They were drawn to the sunshine and warmth of Florida, and the promise of new opportunities. The group consisted of five friends, all in their mid-20s. They had grown up together in Denmark and had always dreamed of traveling and seeing the world. After saving up some money, they finally decided to take the leap and move to the U.S. They settled in a small town in central Florida and began to build their new lives. At first, things were difficult. They had to adjust to a new culture, a new language, and a new way of life. They struggled to find work and to make friends. But they were determined to make it work.
