Why do you think you fit the role of a EMT? (150 words minimum): I think I can fit the role of EMT because I have knowledge of the 10-codes and radio comms. I am able to have a lot of calls and respond to a good majority of them. I used time management when I was a basic paramedic and had to respond to numerous revives that were around the map. I am always studying rules and the handbook to do the best I can as a medic without breaking any rules or breaking the medic sop. I am kind to everyone I see and do not hold grudges. I also prioritize bleed out time instead of proximity unless you guys have certain rules in the sop for this then I will do what that says. I have played on many RP servers before and know that I should always value my life in any given scenario. With my previous experiences as a medic I know that you should always follow the chain of command as well and understand that everyone should be respected no matter the rank.
What are your previous experiences with being in a FD/EMS? (If any): Olympus basic Paramedic
What makes a good EMT in your opinion? (150 words minimum): What makes a good EMT is that they show respect to everyone no matter the circumstances. I feel as though a medic should have integrity and time management. Time management is crucial when your a medic because every second counts. EMT’s are one of the first ranks and I believe that they need to be open to criticism from higher ups because at the end of the day the higher ups are just trying to help you. A good EMT should know how to use comms and how to not interrupt radio transmissions. EMT’s should be familiar with the rules of the server and also should always be refreshing themselves on the SOP and the server rules. EMT's should conduct themselves in a good manner. I believe that the EMT should also ask questions to higher ups and should follow the chain of command when doing so that they have a good understanding of what to do as a medic and what not to do as a medic.
Why should you be chosen over someone else? (100 words minimum): I believe that I should be chosen over someone else because of my previous experience of playing as a medic and knowledge of rules and procedures. I am always reading the server rules and SOP. When I was playing as a medic before I would study the SOP every day and also read over the server rules a couple times a week to get rid of any “grey areas”. I have integrity so I will do things without expecting something in return. I know how to conduct myself in a professional manner when playing as a medic. I also never yell at people even if they are yelling at me. I don't hold grudges and am respectful to everyone that I talk to.
