    Ryan Axel - EMS Application

Personal Information Name: Ryan Star (EMS NAME) Age: 17 Steam 64 UID: 76561198076908090 Timezone: EST __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Questions about yourself: Describe yourself in 4 words that support your application? Available, Active, Committed, Determined How many hours a week can you dedicate to this department? 15+ Depends greatly on work schedule and school workload Why do you think you fit the role of a EMT? (150 words minimum): I like to focus as much time as possible into improving other people's lives. Whether that means risking my life to save their's or whatever situation the line of work may put me in. People are my priority. I put myself into other people's shoes so I can see the situation from their point of view, which allows me to handle the victims and situation in a better, more efficient manner. I am willing to learn everything that I can, and will always provide honest input if/when needed. I like to apply communication and problem-solving skills to every situation to produce the best possible outcome. I always follow chain of command and look to progress on this chain to hopefully one day be in a position to help others within the department itself. I am dedicated to the job and have the experience from other places to succeed in the position in EMS. What are your previous experiences with being in a FD/EMS? (If any): Senior EMT ~ USG Lakeside, Captain of HR ~ USG Takistan, FIFR Lieutenant ~ Arma3Projectlife What makes a good EMT in your opinion? (150 words minimum): Someone with life-saving skills. Must be able to work in a team. Someone who makes a good Medical Technician must have a good doctor/patient relationship forming ability. You MUST be able to listen more than you speak. Someone who makes a good Medical Technician has the ability to catch on to minute details. Personally, I have a lot of experience. I know how to keep chatter on the radio down and to keep the comms clear. A medic must be perceptive and understand and read his or her surroundings. A medic must be able to understand his/her patient. They should understand the importance of the SOPs and understand that they were put in place for a reason. They should ensure that everyone gets equal treatment, no matter what previous experiences they've had with said patient. And very importantly, a medic should know when he/she has too much on their plate to handle and when they need help. You cannot help everyone and MUST be able to understand that you'll need the team behind you. Why should you be chosen over someone else? (100 words minimum): I have the dedication and experience to go far in the department. Of my over 5000 Arma hours, an easy 1500 were as EMS on random servers from altis life to Project life. I work well in a team, I'm perceptive, and I listen. I know how to communicate effectively and to not clog the main tacs. I have been in EMS on many different servers all with broad-ranging abilities. I've seen just about every medical system the game has to offer and have dealt with many different types of situations. Lastly, I know the map well and know the fastest ways to any given location.
