Motivated, Humble, Kind Hearted, Friendly How many hours a week can you dedicate to this department? 2 - 6 hours a day. Why do you think you fit the role of a EMT? (150 words minimum): I think I would be a great fit as a member of EMT because of my kindness towards others and the fact that I place others ahead of myself and worry about them more than myself. Especially in role play I often cannot be mean to someone and want to help them out as best as possible which is what the EMS do, which is the reason why I would fit the position perfectly. I have also always wanted to help people out when it comes to being a medic because I want to be a paramedic or nurse when I am older so I think this would be fun. I also like making new friends and frankly I hardly have any friends on ANZUS so this will be a great way to make some new friends and have someone to ride along with in-game and to talk to out of game. What are your previous experiences with being in a FD/EMS? (If any): I have never been a medic on another server before, we all have to start somewhere! What makes a good EMT in your opinion? (150 words minimum): Without any medics on the island the server would not run correctly and have a large impact on the server. There is more to pressing the windows key on a fallen person it is about communication and helping those that were injured or are just looking for someone to help out. You need to have a good set of skills to be a medic because of the role play aspects that are required for success which I possess, some of these are; Good Teamwork; Support; Motivation; Communication. These are some of the primary skills that greatly assist in becoming a medic. This is what I think a good medic should posses as good qualities that define them as medics and nothing else. Why should you be chosen over someone else? (100 words minimum): I believe that I should be chosen over others because of my passion and determination to help people in need. I know how much commitment it takes to be in a department like this one and I have even ran my own department before that is well organised and managed. I know how to manage things and I am a very loyal and trustworthy person that knows how to listen to other medics and people. Usually I only ever see one medic online at most times of the day so I will try to change that by applying to be a medic and helping this out, if I am accepted, because without any medics the server would not have any care and kindness left. Have you ever been banned? (for whatever reason): No I have never received any warning points or bans. What is your motivation for applying for a support position within ANZUS? (75 words minimum): I have always been passionate about communities and helping people out as a whole, I also would love to help this community grow by helping out the new players while making sure that the experienced ones are kept in line. Due to this being an Arma 3 Life server I will come across lots of challenges that I will overcome, giving knowledge is just as important as receiving it, other challenges may be tough and will require patience, teamwork, motivation, passion and dedication. This will not stop me from seeing the amazing opportunity that this community can give to myself and others that want to help grow it and nurture it as there is always a bad apple that spoils the rest but the fellow humans step in to save it from dying. Most of you will say that a game such as Arma 3 is hard to staff and finding good, genuine and passionate staff is a challenge. Then when you try to staff an Arma 3 Role Play server then it is stressful and hectic without the correct management skills and competent leadership then any server as big as this would crumble. If the staff are not properly trained then it will not work because of the intense patience required for the toxic players of Arma 3 Role Play which is impossible to get around since people can be toxic when they do not even want to be. What skills can you bring to the team? (50 words minimum): If you get to know me well then you will realise that I am a very easy going guy that puts others ahead of himself and treats everyone with respect and dignity. I also believe that I should and will treat everyone how I want to be treated which in turn makes me very pleasant to be around as I can lighten the mood and help people out in a respectful manor if they are stuck or in need of help. I have well over 2000+ hours of leadership experience not only in two other communities but in management of a Minecraft server too. From being in these various positions I have learnt a lot about leadership skills and strategies. Some other qualities that I have is the large level of experience that I have for communities just like this one spending most of my time administrating them and ensuring everything is in order. It is also very important to have a friendly side, this makes me very good at communicating with others and not being afraid to reach out if I need something. Do you have any experience elsewhere in a position of power over a community?: Revival Craft (2 - 3 Years of Service)Revival Craft is a Minecraft server that I have spent thousands of hours managing and developing with other staff in the role of Manager. I have not only moderated the server but also created their discord and made spreadsheets to keep track of everything that occurs in the community. I worked my way up from Helper around 2 years ago until I achieved Head-Moderator before the server was shutdown for around 3 months. When it came back online I was a Helper again and worked my way back up to Head-Mod to eventually be chanted by the whole chat to promote me to Admin so the Owner listened and then I was promoted. After spending around 6 - 8 months as an Admin I was then given Manager after the previous stepped down and have been in the position for around 4 months. The server has died off a slight bit now however, hopefully in the next upcoming update there will be a rise in activity on the server. At this point in time I have definitely spent over 80% of my total playtime on this server as a member of the staff team which is a big thing due to the high turnover as this server is incredibly toxic.Damage Incorporated (12 Months of Service)This was possibly one of the most well managed and organised communities I have ever been in getting loads of memories from it and being promoted to various positions including: Officer (like a Moderator), Vice (Assistant Administrator), Commander (Administrator / Leader of their own Division). I have been in these different positions many of times receiving countless awards for my activity and passion as well as much deserved praise for all of my hard work.Infius Gaming (3 Months of Service)Even though I have only been a part of this community for a short amount of time I have been swiftly promoted due to my large understanding and knowledge of how to run a community because of my time in Damage Incorporated. About two weeks after I joined I was promoted to Department Manager of a separate team that dealt with administration which went well and still is, around three weeks after that I was promoted to Senior Staff, part of community leadership, to allow me to do more within the community and help out. I was given access to Admin Control Panel, which I believe this community has because I think that this community is hosted by Invision Community which is what Damage Inc and Infius use so I know how find my way around. This helps me assist the Leader a lot more since the other two Leaders were on temporary leave and since then I have kept my rank because I know how to use it and I am a big help to the Community Leader and I am sure he would agree too.Thanks a lot for spending your time to read my application! How may I achieve this impossible step you ask? Well let me explain, most of you will say that a game such as Arma 3 is hard enough to moderate and keep free of rule breakers. However, when you throw Role Play into the name there is a load more challenges to face when trying to manage and moderate a large server and community such as this one. This is due to the ever changing rules and the heavy load of them that you have to know and be able to use when pointing someone in the right direction. This is why I want to be Staff, to Support those in need or people that request some assistance with either in-game, forums, TeamSpeak or discord because I can learn fast and when I am passionate about something as amazing and exciting as ANZUS I am quick to learn and experience the rush of ANZUS and the madness of the support cases and reports. ANZUSGaming is definitely a community that is ahead of most others due to the management and systems that are put in place to help with it, this is how the community is rising in popularity and overall member count. Yes having a lot of members doesn't make a community great but if those members are loyal and passionate as I am then they will remain in the community helping out as much as possible even applying for Staff if they think they are ready. The community has come so far since it is still quite new and fresh and only the dedicated Support, Staff Teams and the members themselves made this happen. Without a stable Staff teams the server would be in shambles due to the fragility of a newly emerging community but that can easily change. What skills can you bring to the team?
