How did you acquire these references?
Old time friend from older communities who I believe could vouch for me being a good cop
Why would you like to join the Kamdan State Police? (100 words minimum):
Law enforcement has always been one of my greatest interests when it came to communities like this. I have always been a member of some form of department that upheld the law, whether it be direct law enforcement or as an attorney. One of the biggest reasons I enjoy being a part of the state troopers or police department in general is that I get to be a part of a team. Whether it be in SWAT, the Staties, or any other division, I always find myself meeting new people. I also bring with me plenty of experience, such as with SERT/SWAT, DTU, State Troopers, IA, and even Marshall’s and CRT. This means that I have plenty of background experience in just about every department and experience you could imagine. Because of this, I find it hard to enjoy anything besides being a part of the police department, because it’s where I’ve always gone and where I have the most fun.
What are your previous experiences with being an LEO? (If any):
I have experience in just about every department. This includes:
DTU(all the way up to Lt.)
SERT(All the way up to Captain)
Internal Affairs(All the way up to Captain)
Patrol(All the way up to commissioner)
as well as plenty of FTO experience
What makes a good Officer in your opinion? (100 words minimum):
There are many things that make a great officer. To begin, an officer even without any training needs to remain level headed and focused. He will encounter a lot of situations he hasn’t ever experienced before and no two situations will be the same. I also feel a good officer needs to be good at dealing with people. Every encounter an officer experiences will be dealing with at least one person, so it’s important to be able to understand where that person is coming from. It’s also important for an officer to be strict and disciplined. While it’s important to be lenient, it’s also important to know when someone deserves the punishment they are going to receive. An officer must be willing and able to put criminals behind bars without hesitation. Lastly, a good officer must have plenty of experience. This is what differentiates a good officer from any other officer. With more experience under your belt, you’re bound to be a better officer than most. Experience is the best teacher.
Anything that you would like to add?:
I have a lot of experience behind me and I consider myself to be a good cop. Law enforcement has always been my favorite route to take at communities and servers like this, so I really hope you’ll consider taking me in as part of the team. I have plenty of leadership role experience, and feel my knowledge could be shared among the department as well as anyone who may need the help. Thank you for taking the time to read through my application.
