  1. Glad class 2s have been reintroduced. Had a lot more fun already. Pricing is the only issue although I know there is plans to bring the price down to meet the economy. ideal situation would be: - cheapest class 2 at 5k, scale from there. - cheapest class 3 at 10k, scale from there. roughly double the price of 3.0 prices, A good compromise between those wanting 3k class 3s and 20k class 3s.
  2. I agree, that’s my point. 99% of players can follow them so seska’s point of class 3s potentially leading to roleplayers getting their situations ruined (rulebreaks) is void by no means was I saying rule breaking should become a norm. I only meant that being realistic it’s going to happen from time to time
  3. Rules are going to be broken, it’s unrealistic to think otherwise. That’s why there’s a staff team, points and comp system in place. By the sounds of it you have a problem with the report and comp system, and are implying easier access (than option 1 or 2) to class 3s will be the cause of that. do what all the rest of the players do, enjoy the server for all it has; whether it’s role playing, runs, gunfights etc and record at all times so you’re covered.
  4. There’s rules in place to stop it “coming to them” like no robbing legal runs, needing a proper roleplay reason to rob someone, etc. The problem is when roleplayers do illegal runs or delve into cartel related activities they get smoked and end up upset, but then again this isn’t a cops and farmers RP server. There’s factions and a whole array of content for gang members for a reason. Daniel makes a good point that if you don’t want involved in any class 3 content, then keep doing your legal runs/staying in green zones.
  5. I think what the combat players are tryna say that even though there was other factors, the setup for 4.0 was the nail in the coffin. I also think what most of us are trying to say is that making it too grindy and expensive to get guns is gonna result in the same. the way Florida is layed out I think benefits both, all the role players hang about the cities, and the combat players are off doing cartel, combat events, etc. putting class 3s back in as it was is gonna cheer up the combat players, hardly affect the role players, and from reading this thread, combat players are all for a crafting system for guns, having rebel and the crafting system gives people the choice. So your main demographics are all satisfied.
  6. I’m for option 3 as said before but I wanted to add more. Right now with pistols it’s *been fun, no one is overly toxic due to the restriction server wide and the fact no one is losing out on too much. Kits are 3k at the moment. Chump change. *it’s now getting boring af. making class 3s too expensive (20k or whatever) is going to ruin it for a good chunk of the community. People will either leave because they don’t want to farm up for class 3s or get disgruntled by not being able to enjoy a main aspect of ARMA (the C3 combat) and losing hours of farming for a 5 minute gunfight. I suggest - crafters own the rare C3 market, gives them more to do, ability to price them, bit of roleplay involved. People can acquire those guns if they really want to. - leave the standard class 3s to rebel. Double the price of class 3s initially (so 6k for your colt M4, etc) then after a few months see if people are happy.
  7. Option 3, major crimes are pointless with pistols at the moment
  8. +1, although skeptical of weapon/vehicle crafting system. ADV rebel guns are rare for good reason due to price. Would have to be extremely difficult to craft them / potentially reliant on random events like weapons cache. Suggestion: maybe have an event where a crashed truck spawns and you go there with jaws of life or similar item to break in and get vital weapon parts? redzone etc and hourly spawn rate?
