Why would you like to join the Kamdan State Police? (100 words minimum):
I would like to join kamden state police as I have been playing arma life on many different servers, the most enjoyable experiences have always been when I’ve been playing as an officer of the law. I find it the most enjoyable experience as you never know what you can expect playing as an officer, you are constantly having different and new interactions and new situations which I find very enjoyable. I also find that I like to be on the right side of the law when coming into different situations and just find it overall more enjoyable than being a civilian. I would like to join kamden state police to once again get into those different situations and interactions.
What are your previous experiences with being an LEO? (If any):
As I have stated before I have had an abundance of experience within different types of law enforcement RP wether it being Lakeside patrol officers or members of the UN in takistan. Around this time last year I joined Arma.Network and swiftly applied to UN when it was released and I worked my way up to Sergeant gaining experience over the number of months I had ties with the UN. This first stage really created my character to fit the role of a law enforcement officer. The second time I joined UN I quickly made my way up the ranks to Captain due to the previous experience I have had and then after a few months Takistan ended. I was already in nato on arma network as a corporal. After that I had a few stints as a cop on ALRP, I was also apart of the police department on the original Nopixel. After that I played psisyn, where I worked my way up the ranks from cadet to the lt. of swat. Most recently I have been a 1st Lt. in TSF, 2nd Lt. in TNP and then a Sgt. in SORS on republic network. I was then a Swat sergeant when it changed over to equal islands and then on definitive network takistan I was a 1st Lt. in TSF and then joined nato and became a 2nd Lt. I’ve also played a number of hardcore-RP Garry’s mod servers, although Garry’s mod is not known for serious RP, I feel that I had learnt a lot and thoroughly really added to my experiences.
What makes a good Officer in your opinion? (100 words minimum):
A good officer is one that can follow orders but also think on his own without always being told what to do when, so basically when someone has the discipline to follow orders but also the self-confidence to adapt to different situations. A good officer can think on the fly and maintain himself in even the most stressful of situations, like hostage, banks or other similar scenarios. A good officer is one who has good radio discipline and gives precise and accurate coms that help better the police department in a situation. A good officer should always remain professional, especially when interacting with civilians. In my opinion, the most important thing is that a good officer should be able to think about his option rather than always shooting first, they should always try talking the suspect down first then trying the non-lethal option and only use lethal as a last resort.
Anything that you would like to add?:
I've been a member of a police force for a long time on a number of different communities. Secondly, I'd like to think I'm a friendly, approachable guy. I know that being in a police faction on a community like this can be very stressful in certain situations and I think I would be able to keep my cool and handle any situation. To add on, I can take orders well and I will follow whatever, in reason(within SOP's and server rules) a higher up tells me to do.
To add on, I did some of the UN SOP's and just a few other general sop’s for ArmA.Network and helped in some prior, smaller communities, ie. British RP. So I know how to write SOP’s.
I can also proudly say I'm good at RP so I could easily provide an enjoyable experience for both my fellow officers and civilians, I can say this as i've been apart of a number of hardcore RP servers like dayzrp and project life.
As Well as that, I have over three thousand five hundred hours on Arma, meaning i'm experienced with the game mechanics and most of those hours I spent playing life servers so I know what I'm doing. I can fly well, I've been Adv. ASQ on a number of servers and the head on others, I was also an ASQ FTO on Taki, so I’m a pretty good combat pilot, I can drive which is an essential skill. I can also shoot straight but that was always kept as a last option after using my voice and my non-lethals.
