AnzusGaming Community Guidelines

The messages on this forum express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this website. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email or to immediately report the post with the built in system. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.

General Rules

  1. Posts/conduct may not be knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, consist of plagiarism or otherwise violate any law.
  2. Posts may not attempt to incite aggressive argument or troll others.
  3. Posts may not deliberately, recklessly or carelessly incite drama within the Anzus Community or outside of the Anzus Community.
  4. Posts must not merely be done to boost a users post count. Short posts should be substituted with use of the 'reactions' system unless the reply has real content.
  5. Attempting to abuse forum systems or gain an unfair advantage on the forums (e.g. making multiple forum accounts to stack a poll) is a punishable offence.
  6. Advertising other game servers or things is prohibited unless expressly permitted in writing by Senior Staff.
  7. Copyrighted material may not be posted unless the poster has express permission from the person whom owns the copyright. (Please report any violations of this rule)
  8. AnzusGaming Staff has the right to remove or hide any post it sees fit. There is no general right to freedom of speech.
  9. Users are not to reply to ban disputes or compensation requests unless authorised. (Staff members or independent review team) Please use the react function of the forums.
  10. Users are to limit responses to other applications, only replying with comments which will assist in the decision making process. (e.g. ''+1 great guy'' is not good enough, explain why they are a great guy) Please revert to a reaction to the post instead of a useless comment.
  11. Excessive use of downvotes is punishable. This applies to when you target a user with downvotes OR you just downvote lots of things for an ulterior motive.

Enforcement Rules

  1. AnzusGaming staff may apply warning points or restrictions, including a ban, for misuse of the forums.
    1. Staff have unlimited discretion in their enforcement role unless limited by AnzusGaming Senior Staff. Staff will generally be satisfied on the balance of probabilities when making such a determination however this is at the discretion of the individual staff member.
  2. Such a decision may be appealed in a direct message to the person who imposed such a penalty, via a support ticket post  or via an email to legal@anzusgaming.com if the user has been completely banned from the forums.
  3. Creating alternate forum accounts to evade a ban or punishment is a punishable offence against the forum rules.
  4. Harassment or any violations of law may be reported to the appropriate law enforcement authority. Such a report will include your IP address.
  5. Community bans will create a restriction on your forum account. However, you will still be able to post in ban disputes.
  6. Attempting to hack or maliciously cause damages to the forum will result in a report to an appropriate law enforcement authority and a block of your IP from all services.

Chatbox Rules

  1. Banter is fine, but racial slurs, edgy comments or excessive swearing will get you muted.
  2. Keep the chat in English.
  3. Respect the privacy of everyone. This means that you are not allowed to go around revealing personal information of players.
  4. No Spamming, Excessive Racism, Advertisement or Complaining About Bans.
