Making it so cops can knock out people instead of only being able to tackle them

Currently I've faced lots of non compliant individuals who run around in circles not making us able to crash tackle them, so the solution would be -

 

Shift + G (with a weapon) anywhere on their body - Knocks them out

Shift + G (without a weapon) anywhere on their body - Tackles them.

This would make it so we would not have to shoot people pulling guns after they get out of cars. big +1

It can just just be tackle, but have it work just like knocking someone out. A cop will tackle you regardless what direction you are facing in real life, so....

yeah we could just tackle from the front, that would stop people from spinning and being invincible to tackle.

Its BS how civs and shift g from any direction and cops cant

especially if civs are using it in combat

You have a tazer they work better than knocking out imo perhaps have "non lethal training" to help officers get more use out of such items

The taser from what I've seen, it either works or it completely doesn't work, and the civ being tazed is just running around taking 10 taser rounds without going down. Which results in us having to chase them down to tackle them, which is also hard to do when they are moving around really fast to avoid being tackled. Meanwhile all the civ has to do is quickly take out his pistol, shift+G us in any direction, holster his weapon, and keep running.

Also in combat you dont want to put your lethal away to take down a suspect/combatant 

Having the godly ability to knock someone out in combat is only fair

If the taser misses (imagine hitting someone zig zagging) or doesn't work (and it has a fail chance), and the person pulls out a gun, you could be very well dead. Cops will try to knock you down and restrain you if you were to run around like that anyways.

also, It would be unfair if civs can knock out cops meanwhile cops can't do that back

not when you are chasing more than 1 suspect.

What? Tackle should be tackle, regardless what angle you are at. If a cop with his weighed gear jumps on you, you are going down.

Knocking out someone as soon as you pull him out the vehicle when he evaded.

Well obviously if a suspect is armed, you would resort to a more extreme than trying to run up to them. The idea is to get around the civilians that like to zig zag when running from cops. Zig zagging just lets the cops get closer till they can tackle you. The whole having to be behind them doesn't make sense. Period.

Im just saying both ways because I have been knocked out in the middle of a gun fight by a civ.

Yeah, but this is a suggestion regarding the police. I already know civs will knock out, half the time without initiation while you have a gun on them.

problem is the tasers are ineffective half of the time, and we get rushed by seemingly unarmed people during gunfights. It would help with dealing with lurking civilians
